CT (Computed Tomography) Scan

A CT (Computed Tomography) scan uses X-Ray to make detailed pictures of structures inside of the body.  A CT scan can be used to study all parts of your body, such as the head, chest, abdomen, pelvis or extremities.  CT scans have allowed healthcare providers to inspect the inside of the body without having to operate or perform unpleasant examinations.
